Windsor Regiment's Mini Corps is looking for brass and percussion players.

As we gear up for the MCA Championships in late September, Windsor Regiment's Xtreme Mini Corps has a few spots open in both our brass and percussion sections. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in competing in a Mini Corps to join with our seasoned players as we turn up the intensity and head towards a rewarding finish to the 2008 season.

Our Mini Corps rehearses on Wednesday evenings in West Windsor, NJ. For more information on rehearsal sites and time of rehearsal, contact our corps director.

Windsor Regiment's Xtreme Mini Corps is proud to announce our show for 2008!

The production is titled "On The West Side Of Windsor" a tribute to the late Stan Kenton and his unique and powerful arrangements from the musical "West Side Story". The show opens with "Prologue" followed by the familiar "Something's Coming". Next up is "Taunting Scene" (the Rumble) which transitions into the haunting and beautiful "Somewhere - Finale". The music arrangements for 2008 were scored by Kevin Serfass (brass) and David Vita (percussion).


The Windsor Regiment's Xtreme Mini Corps consists of 22 members including sixteen brass players, a five member percussion section, and a conductor, and is a member of "Mini Corps Associates", an organization dedicated to the advancement of mini corps in America.

Windsor Regiment starts fund raising drive for 2008!

February kicks off our first fund raiser for 2008. Windsor Regiment is still in need of a few brass instruments to fill our line. We are currently seeking sponsorship donations from local businesses in the West Windsor area to be used for the purchase of musical instruments that are being sold by other organizations such as ours. Please help us reach our goal for 2008 and be a supporter of this non-profit community organization. Xtreme Drum Corps Changes for 2008

With the recent re-organization of our Board of Trustees the decision has been made for some changes in our appearance. With this decision comes great anticipation as to what style and theme we are going to use for this year's corps. Windsor Regiment of West Windsor, NJ is the new name for our full drum corps as we continue our work on growing the organization in New Jersey. Windsor Regiment expects to field a mini corps later this summer and are very happy to be a continued member of MCA.

We are also very excited about the addition of support from the township of West Windsor, sanctioning Xtreme Drum Corps as a community group and thank all of those who were involved in making us feel welcome in the township.
